Xiaomi Humanoid Works a Full Eight-Hour Shift on a Factory Line
At the World Internet Conference 2026, Xiaomi reported two robotics milestones. A humanoid worked its first eight-hour shift at a parts-sorting station, hitting the production quota, correcting its own errors, and coordinating with other equipment on the line. Separately, home-assistant robots running the Xiaomi-Robotics-1 model were tested in the Xiaomi Youth Apartments complex, where one agent-driven unit completed more than 50 tasks in 30 minutes while moving between three rooms. The Xiaomi Robotics division also collected a technology-leadership award at the event.
