Microsoft has introduced MAI Cyber 1.1 Flash, a model built into its MDASH security platform to analyse source code. Inside the platform’s multi-agent testing system it carries the bulk of bug search and verification, handing only non-trivial cases to larger models, which cut scanning cost by nearly a fifth with no loss in detection quality.

Microsoft reports that 90% of customers who once ran an audit through MAI Cyber stay on that profile instead of a mix of OpenAI models, and that about half of the checks in MDASH now run on the company’s own model. Access is open to verified users of the platform.
