Google has opened global access to Gemini 4 Argon, its new flagship model built for complex multi-step work: software development, financial analysis, scientific research, and cybersecurity. The company says Argon helped the Chrome team refactor hundreds of files, turning months of work into weeks, and that its agents now ship more than 35% more code changes with almost a third fewer rollbacks. Google also claims first place for the model on the Vals Index, which scores performance on professional tasks. Argon is priced at $2 per million input tokens and $10 per million output tokens and ships through AI Studio, the Gemini API, Google Antigravity, and the Gemini app on eligible subscription plans.
