Claude Shared Conversations Found Indexed by Search Engines
Publicly shared Claude conversations have been discovered in search engine results, mirroring a known issue across AI chatbots. Researchers at Digital Digging previously found tens of thousands of publicly accessible shared conversations across Claude, Gemini, Grok, Copilot, ChatGPT, and DeepSeek. While private chats remain unaffected, users who create public share links may inadvertently expose sensitive data such as API keys, passwords, and personal documents to indexing and archiving.
