Sol is purpose-built for complex agentic workloads, coding, biology, and cybersecurity, introducing two new reasoning modes: max for deeper deliberation and ultra which orchestrates sub-agents for intricate multi-step processes.
The release is currently in a limited preview for trusted partners via the API and Codex, with a broader rollout across ChatGPT, Codex, and API expected later.
