Zhipu AI Releases GLM-5.2 with 1M Token Context Window
Zhipu AI (international brand ZAi) has released GLM-5.2, expanding the context window from 200K to 1 million tokens. The model is available to all GLM Coding Plans users and offers two modes: High Mode for fast code generation and Max Mode with chain-of-thought reasoning for long-term planning. It is optimized for integration with popular AI agents including Cline, Roo Code, OpenCode CLI, and Claude Code. Usage consumes platform quotas at a 3x multiplier during peak hours and 2x off-peak, with a promotional 1x rate for off-peak hours until the end of September 2026. The company plans to release the weights on Hugging Face soon.
