MiniMax Releases Self-Evolving M2.7 Model
MiniMax has launched the M2.7, its first self-evolving AI model capable of autonomously improving its algorithms and workflows. After over 100 cycles of autonomous optimization during development, M2.7’s performance increased by 30%.
Designed for complex coding tasks and multi-step AI agents, M2.7 matched the Claude 3.5 Sonnet level in the SWE-Pro benchmark and achieved a 1495 ELO rating on GDPval-AA. It also supports editing Word, Excel, and PowerPoint files while preserving original formatting.
Available in two versions, including a high-speed variant generating up to 100 tokens per second, the M2.7 API costs $0.30 per million incoming tokens and $1.20 per million outgoing tokens. It is supported in Cursor, Cline, Ollama, and the MiniMax Agent app.
