Google has officially launched Gemini 3.1 Pro, showcasing a significant leap in AI intelligence with a 77.1% score on the challenging ARC-AGI-2 abstract reasoning test—nearly double the previous version’s result. The new model outperforms competitors like Opus 4.6 and GPT-5.2 in generalization and logical reasoning tasks, excelling in real-world scenarios including programming, agent tasks, and handling novel patterns without examples. Gemini 3.1 Pro also introduces the ability to generate animated SVGs from text and solve novel logical problems, marking a key step toward more versatile AI.

The model is available now for trial in Google AI Studio.
